“Good crew to work with, very efficient work performed on a 45’ Ficus tree. Crew worked quickly and safely, showed up early and cleaned up all debris. Highly recommended.”
How the job runs
Walk the trees
We look at each tree and palm, note anything near the roof or wires, and agree on what comes off.
Written estimate
A clear scope by tree or area, so you know what you are paying for.
Trim and clean up
We do the work, haul the debris and walk it with you before we leave.
What it is not
Tree treatment. We do not treat sick trees. Call a licensed pest control operator or a certified arborist.
Florida is hard on yards
- Dense canopies that catch the wind
- An unthinned canopy acts like a sail in a tropical storm. Selective thinning lets the wind pass through instead of tearing limbs off.
- Palms with old fronds and seed pods
- Dead fronds and heavy seed pods drop on cars and roofs, and become projectiles in a storm.
- Shrubs that have outgrown their spot
- Foundation shrubs blocking windows, hedges leaning into walkways, plantings that lost their shape years ago.
- Over-pruning
- Topping trees and stripping palms down to a few fronds weakens them. Good pruning removes the right wood, not the most wood.
Tree & Palm Trimming questions
When is the best time to trim trees in Brevard County?
Late winter through spring, before hurricane season starts in June. That gives the tree time to respond before storm season.
How often should palms be trimmed?
Usually once or twice a year, depending on the species. Remove dead and hanging fronds and seed pods; leave the green fronds.
Do you treat trees for pests or disease?
No. We trim, prune and remove deadwood. If a tree needs treatment, a licensed pest control operator or a certified arborist is the right call.
Do you haul away the debris?
Yes. Cleanup and haul-off are part of every job.
