Screen Enclosures & Pool Cages
How much does a pool screen enclosure cost?
It depends on the size of the pool and deck, the roof shape and the screen you pick. We measure and give you a written estimate at no cost.
Do I need a permit for a screen enclosure in Brevard County?
Yes for a new enclosure or pool cage, and for repairing or replacing the aluminum frame. We check with your city or the county and pull the permit before work starts.
Can you re-screen my existing pool cage?
Yes. We re-screen single panels or the whole cage, and replace the spline and any torn screen.
Do you build garage screen enclosures?
Yes. We screen garage openings and front porches as well as pools and lanais.
What kind of screen should I use?
Standard screen works for most panels. No-see-um mesh is finer and keeps out the smallest bugs. Privacy screen is denser and works well on panels facing a neighbor.
Patios, Retaining Walls & Hardscape
Do you build gas fire pits or outdoor kitchens?
Yes. We build wood-burning and gas fire pits and outdoor kitchens. The gas, plumbing and electrical work is done by a licensed trade.
How long does a patio take?
Most residential patios take a few days from excavation to cleanup, depending on size and access.
Do you build retaining walls?
Yes. We build retaining walls, seat walls, planters and garden borders.
Can you match the pavers I already have?
Often, yes. Bring a photo or a spare paver and we will look for a match or a complementary border.
Paver Installation
How much does a paver driveway cost in Brevard County?
It depends on size, the paver you pick, how deep the base needs to be, and whether old concrete has to come out. We measure and give you an itemized written estimate at no cost.
How long does a paver driveway take?
A typical two-car driveway takes a few days from tear-out to final compaction. Larger or combined projects take longer.
Are pavers better than concrete in Florida?
Pavers cost more up front, but they flex with the ground and a damaged area can be lifted and re-set instead of patched. Concrete is cheaper and fine for simple slabs.
Should I seal my pavers?
Sealing is optional. It protects color from UV, helps hold joint sand in place and makes stains easier to clean. Most sealers need a fresh coat every few years.
Can pavers go over my existing concrete?
Sometimes. If the slab is sound, level and not heaving, an overlay can work. We check before we recommend it.
Can you fix my sunken pavers?
Yes. We lift the low area, rebuild and compact the base, re-lay the pavers and refill the joints.
Patio Covers
How much does a patio cover cost?
It depends on the size, the roof panel and whether you want fans or lights. We measure and give you a written estimate at no cost.
Insulated or standard aluminum?
Insulated panels keep the space below cooler and cut the noise of rain on the roof. Standard aluminum costs less and still gives shade and rain cover.
Do I need a permit for a patio cover in Brevard County?
Yes. A new or replacement aluminum structure needs a building permit. We check with your city or the county and pull it before work starts.
Can you add a ceiling fan or lights?
Yes. We plan them into the cover, and an electrical subcontractor does the wiring.
Landscape Design & Renovation
What plants do well in Brevard County?
Coontie, muhly grass, saw palmetto, silver buttonwood, firebush, beach sunflower and sabal palm handle our sand, sun and salt with little help. Near the beach, sea grape and sea oats take direct exposure.
Do you install irrigation?
Yes, with the irrigation work done by a licensed trade. We design planting around the water you have and group plants by water need.
When is the best time to plant?
Most plants can go in year-round here. Late fall through spring is easier on new plants than the peak of summer heat.
Which grass should I choose?
St. Augustine for sunny yards with regular watering, Zoysia for a finer, denser lawn, and Bahia for large, low-water lots. Shade often calls for groundcover instead of turf.
Concrete & Stonework
Is stamped concrete slippery?
It can be when wet. We can add a slip-resistant additive to the sealer on walks and pool-side areas.
How long before I can walk on new concrete?
Usually a day or two for foot traffic. We will tell you the exact timing for your job.
Concrete or pavers?
Concrete costs less up front and suits simple walks and pads. Pavers cost more but can be lifted and re-set if the ground settles. We will tell you which fits your space.
Fence Installation & Repair
How much does a new fence cost?
It depends on the length, the material, the height and the number of gates. We measure and give you a written estimate at no cost.
Vinyl, aluminum or wood?
Vinyl gives the most privacy with the least upkeep. Aluminum keeps the view open and handles salt air well. Wood costs less up front but needs stain or paint and wears faster in our humidity.
Do you build pool fences?
Yes. We install aluminum and vinyl pool fences with self-closing, self-latching gates.
Can you repair my existing fence?
Yes. We fix leaning sections, broken pickets and rails, chain-link fabric and sagging gates.
Can you match my existing fence?
Usually. We match picket size and style as closely as the available materials allow.
Tree & Palm Trimming
When is the best time to trim trees in Brevard County?
Late winter through spring, before hurricane season starts in June. That gives the tree time to respond before storm season.
How often should palms be trimmed?
Usually once or twice a year, depending on the species. Remove dead and hanging fronds and seed pods; leave the green fronds.
Do you treat trees for pests or disease?
No. We trim, prune and remove deadwood. If a tree needs treatment, a licensed pest control operator or a certified arborist is the right call.
Do you haul away the debris?
Yes. Cleanup and haul-off are part of every job.
Lawn Care & Garden Maintenance
How much does lawn maintenance cost in Brevard County?
Most residential mowing, edging and blowing runs about $50 to $150 or more a visit, depending on the size of the lot and how often we come. Call (321) 508-5855 for a free estimate on your yard.
How often should my lawn be mowed in Florida?
Weekly during the growing season (roughly May through October) keeps St. Augustine and Zoysia healthy. Many yards can move to every other week in the cooler months.
Do you apply fertilizer or weed killer?
No. Our maintenance covers mowing, edging, trimming, bed care and mulch. If your lawn needs fertilizer or treatment, use a licensed lawn and ornamental applicator.
Do I need to be home for service?
No. As long as we can reach the yard and gates are unlocked, we can work while you are out.
Still have a question?
Ask it at the estimate visit, or tell us about the job here and we will call you back.
